Cling Ministries exists to magnify the gospel of Christ and to encourage and equip women to walk intimately with Him. We were created to cling. This was God’s design going back to the Garden, when Adam and Eve walked and talked daily with Him. Sin brought separation between God and mankind, yet God’s heart still was for relationship. 

By faith Enoch walked with God, and God was so pleased that He took Enoch to be with Him (Genesis 5:22-24). When God was grieved that He had made mankind, one man found favor. And the Bible says of him—“Noah walked with God” (Genesis 6:9).

When God’s chosen people prepared to enter the Promised Land, He told them through Moses what they needed to do in order for things to go well with them. Among His commandments were these:

“You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and you shall swear by His name” (Deuteronomy 10:20).

“You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him” (Deuteronomy 13:4).

Cling to Him. 

The word in the Hebrew is dabaq. It means “cling,” “cleave,” or “keep close.” The same Hebrew word is found in Genesis 2:24—“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh” (KJV). This “cleaving” and becoming “one flesh” is also an illustration of Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:31-32). Indeed, it is only in Christ that we can walk in the intimacy that God intended from the beginning. In Christ we can cling!

Cling Ministries is devoted to helping women walk out that intimacy with the Lord. Through books, Bible studies, music, media, a drama series and more, our heart is to teach not only what it means to cling—but also, the joy and blessing that come from a lifestyle of clinging to the Lord.
